Croma Vera (Latin for “true colors”)
Wines have very little intervention with its grapes so that its true colors and flavors can materialize. Always interested in winemaking, illustrator/graphic designer turned Croma Vera owner Mindy Oliver finally made the leap and pursued her passion by moving to the Central Coast in 2011. She brought on consultant Jeremy Leffert to help in the winemaking process and use the grapes’ full flavor become bottled into delicious Spanish specialties that include Albarino, Rose, and Grenache (my new favorite due to its berry-flavored, subtle spice tones).
Croma Vera is open Thurs-Mon 12pm-5pm and the tasting fee is $12.
