Epoch (Paso Robles)
With varietals “rooted in veracity” as its motto states, this manor was originally build in 1882 with 350 acres of land around it and originally owned by famous pianist Ignacy Paderewski.
Young geologists Bill and Liz Armstrong finally swooped in and started restoring this historic site since 2004. Taste Rhone red blend specialties in the fancy trailer overlooking the mountainside. Watch out for Epoch’s resident animals that help keep an eye on things including the few horses, polydactyl cats, and Brix the boxer. With its tasting room and vines located at 7505 York Mountain Road in Templeton, Epoch is open 10am-4pm with $20 tastings.
