This family-owned and operated winery first dates back to 1948 when Oliver Talley grew his first garden in Arroyo Grande.
With his commitment to sustainable agriculture, the family gives high attention to detail in its winemaking and soils of its 6 vineyards located in Edna Valley and Arroyo Grande. Talley Vineyards then launched Bishop’s Peak, another line of wines named after SLO’s popular local landmark to reflect their distinctiveness and regional diversity. Some of the places are owned by growers and some by the Talley family, with all sharing common goals and values in local sustainability. Talley Vineyards specializes in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the two most popular varietals grown in the Central Coast. Located at 3031 Lopez Drive in Arroyo Grande, Talley Vineyards/Bishop’s Peak is open 10:30am-4:30pm daily and the tasting fee is $10 for a core flight.
