As one of the first small wineries existing in California, Piedra Creek prides itself on its limited batch of estate-sourced Chardonnay coming from its 55-acre vineyard. However, 15 years after its inception, Piedra Creek Winery moved to the newly planted San Floriano vineyard with the idea to only grow the highest quality of grapes for its wines. Short rows and compact spacing of planted vines are within walking distance to the winemaker’s home so that the former aerospace engineer can keep a close eye on the grapes. The Piedra Creek Winery tasting room is open by appointment only.
