The inception of this winery is a sweet story of how two student vintners at Cal Poly fell in love and got bit hard by the wine bug.
Immersing themselves in the winemaking craft and studying the art of how to make a perfect Pinot Noir, Mike Sinor and Cheri LaVallee soon married, had children, and opened a winery. Celebrating its 20th year, Sinor-LaVallee features Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Pinot Gris, and Albarino planted on its 3-ft. terraces. Located only a block from the beach, the Sinor-LaVallee tasting room is open Thurs-Mon 12pm-6pm and guests can enjoy a flight of 5 wines for $12.
