This small artisanal winery focuses on Spanish/Iberian varieties like Tempranillo, Albarino, and Grenache, but releases small batches of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir as well.
Inspired by winemaker Louisa Sawyer Lindquist, she says that Verdad grapes are sourced using biodynamic and organic farming principles to create authentic, sustainable wines. Louisa started learning the fundamentals of winemaking at the age of 21 on the East Coast and then moved to California in 1992, bringing her expertise in the Spanish wine style to the Central Coast.
